Industrial System Concludes Participation in World Defense Show 2026 with 15 Strategic Partnerships

Riyadh: The Industrial and Mineral Resources System concluded its participation as a key partner in World Defense Show 2026 by signing 15 strategic agreements and memoranda of understanding with leading local and international companies. These partnerships aim to support the localization of the Kingdom's military and defense industries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the areas of cooperation focus on developing the aviation and helicopter industry and establishing an integrated industrial base for the aviation sector in the Kingdom. This includes setting up an engineering center for manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance. In addition, the agreements seek to localize military industries, enhance local defense content, develop aerospace industrial capabilities, and support innovation and national supply chains.

The System's pavilion in Riyadh, held from February 8 to 12, witnessed the signing of these agreements. Several ministers and dignitaries, along with international and local delegations visited the pavilion and were briefed on the objectives and achievements of the National Industrial Strategy, which outlines promising investment opportunities in the military industry sector and key enablers and incentives to facilitate investment for both local and international investors.
