Al-khobar: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued implementing the water supply and environmental sanitation project in Yemen's Al-Khawkhah District of Al-Hudaydah Governorate. From January 21 to 27, KSrelief pumped 216,000 liters of potable water and 1,013,000 liters of water for domestic use, carried out 180 waste-removal trips from displacement camps, conducted maintenance on four toilets, and performed a water quality test.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative is part of KSrelief's ongoing efforts to address the urgent water and sanitation needs in Yemen, particularly in the conflict-affected regions. The project aims to provide reliable access to clean water and improve hygiene conditions for the residents, especially those living in displacement camps. The recent activities highlight the center's commitment to enhancing the living conditions of vulnerable populations in the area.
