Islamic Affairs Ministry Gears Up for Ramadan with Comprehensive Plan in Madinah

Madinah: The Madinah branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has intensified its field inspections and maintenance efforts at mosques and prayer halls to ensure their full readiness to welcome worshippers during the month of Ramadan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the branch's Director General Osama Al-Madkhali stated that the Ramadan operational plan also includes implementing a range of outreach programs and activities, such as religious lessons, lectures, and guidance and awareness sessions, with the participation of imams.

He added that the plan also leverages modern technology to enable beneficiaries to access digital content, electronic services, and reliable religious information through QR codes and other user-friendly channels.

In addition, volunteers will take part in various organizational and awareness field initiatives, reinforcing the culture of volunteerism and strengthening collaboration with relevant entities.

The branch also supervises the distribution of gift copies of the Holy Quran from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at designated locations, along with guidance books and awareness publications.
