Islamic Affairs Ministry Intensifies Awareness Efforts to Serve Umrah Performers at Al-Taneem Mosque

Makkah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the General Secretariat for Islamic Awareness in Hajj, Umrah, and Visit Affairs, has intensified its awareness and guidance programs at Masjid Aisha (Aisha Mosque) in Al-Taneem, Makkah, in conjunction with the arrival of Umrah performers following the Hajj season, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance religious awareness.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry provides awareness services through on-site booths staffed around the clock by preachers and translators who answer Umrah performers' inquiries, educate them on the rulings of Umrah, and guide them in performing the rituals in accordance with the Holy Quran and Sunnah, helping facilitate the observance of the rites with ease and tranquility.

The services include the use of modern technologies through electronic screens inside the mosque to broadcast awareness messages in more than 10 international languages. They also include an electronic library service that enables Umrah performers to download religious books and pamphlets through QR codes using their smartphones, in addition to the distribution of Dawah publications in several languages.

These efforts are part of the ministry's ongoing mission to serve Umrah performers and visitors, promote religious awareness, and facilitate the performance of rituals in line with the aspirations of the leadership and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
