Islamic Affairs Ministry Launches Training Program for Imams in Tanzania

Dar es salaam: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance launched its inaugural 2026 training program in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, for 110 imams from across the country to enhance their scholarly proficiency and methodological skills in support of their community work.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is part of the ministry's international outreach strategy, aimed at building local capacities and disseminating the tolerant values of Islam. By providing these specialized programs, the ministry continues to strengthen the Kingdom's global role in serving Muslim communities and promoting moderate religious discourse.
