Amman:Jordan has expressed strong condemnation of the Houthi militia's persistent attacks on Saudi Arabia, including recent incidents targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. These attacks resulted in the death of a resident, injuries to others, and significant material damage.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates issued a statement on Monday denouncing the assaults on the two airports, along with attacks on civilians and economic facilities within Saudi Arabia. The ministry described these actions as a severe breach of international law and an outright attack on the sovereignty, security, and stability of Saudi Arabia, as well as the safety of its citizens and residents.
The statement further emphasized Jordan's complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia, affirming support for any measures the Kingdom undertakes to safeguard its security and national assets. The ministry extended condolences to the family of the deceased and wished those injured a swift recovery.
