KSrelief Distributes 1,000 Food Baskets in Afghanistan’s Paktika Province

Paktika: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed yesterday 1,000 food baskets to returnees from neighboring countries, internally displaced persons, poor families, and orphans in the city of Sharan and Barmal District in Afghanistan's Paktika Province, benefiting 6,000 individuals, representing 1,000 families.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the distribution forms part of the Food Basket (5) Project in Afghanistan for 2026, under the Afghanistan Food Security and Emergency Project for 2026.

This initiative comes as an extension of the relief and humanitarian projects and programs implemented by the Kingdom, through its humanitarian arm KSrelief, to assist the brotherly Afghan people and alleviate their suffering during the holy month of Ramadan.
