Accra:Riyadh The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed a joint executive program with the Yamany Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Works (YDH) in Yemen through a videoconference. This collaboration aims to implement an emergency response project to supply water to displaced individuals in the Taiz Governorate.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project will provide 52,500 liters of water daily for a duration of 90 days. It includes the establishment of 13 water distribution points, each equipped with a 2,000-liter tank, and the distribution of 1,000 water storage containers, each with a capacity of 10 liters. The initiative is expected to directly benefit 3,500 people and indirectly assist an additional 700 individuals.

The program is part of a broader set of humanitarian and relief efforts by Saudi Arabia, focusing on water, sanitation, and environmental hygiene, which are carried out through KSrelief. These projects are designed to enhance the quality of life, offer sustainable environmental solutions, and curb the spread of diseases and epidemics in countries that require aid globally.
