Madinah: Under the directives of the Governor of Madinah Region and Chairman of the Permanent Hajj and Umrah Committee, Madinah Deputy Governor Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz reviewed the health services provided to pilgrims during the Hajj season. This review took place during a meeting with the Director of the Ministry of Health branch in the region, Dr. Sami Al-Ruhaili, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Madinah Health Cluster, Abdulrahman Alharbi.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on various aspects of the healthcare services offered to pilgrims. Discussions included services available at hospitals and health centers, operational plans ensuring the continuity of healthcare during the dispatching of pilgrims to Makkah, and the evaluation of performance indicators for health and emergency services.
The deputy governor emphasized the importance of maintaining healthcare services for pilgrims until their departure and stressed the need to enhance readiness for the upcoming second visit period following Hajj.
