Riyadh: The head of the General Directorate of Traffic, Major General Engineer Ali bin Mohsen Al-Zahrani, led the Ministry of Interior delegation at the 52nd meeting of the Traffic Directors General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The meeting took place at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting centered on enhancing traffic cooperation among GCC member states. A key focus was the electronic linking of traffic violations to improve road safety. The initiative aims to reduce accidents by sharing expertise and implementing best joint traffic practices among the countries involved.
