Baghdad: Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji met with Mauritania's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad Dr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the preparatory ministerial meeting for the 34th Arab League Summit in Baghdad.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussion between the two officials focused on exploring the relationship between their nations. They aimed to identify ways to strengthen and expand cooperation across various sectors that reflect the mutual interests of both countries. Additionally, they exchanged views on recent regional and international developments and ongoing initiatives to address these challenges.
