Riyadh: Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments of the Republic of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed praised the scientific programs and initiatives implemented by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in the Maldives, highlighting their role in promoting moderation and sound Islamic teachings.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the minister's remarks came at the conclusion of a three-day training course, organized in cooperation with the Maldives' Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments. The course was attended by 120 imams, preachers, muezzins, and students of Islamic studies. Dr. Saeed emphasized the educational impact of the course in enhancing the participants' knowledge.
The minister further commended Saudi Arabia's support for programs aimed at promoting moderation and advancing Islamic awareness, marking the successful collaboration between the two nations in fostering educational initiatives.
