Taif: The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, represented by Taif Municipality, has intensified its field preparations to serve pilgrims during the 1447 AH Hajj season. These efforts encompass a comprehensive operational plan that includes cleaning services, facility readiness, lighting maintenance, and support for municipal and service sites along Hajj routes, as well as at reception and transit points.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality has deployed more than 2,300 workers, over 500 pieces of equipment and machinery, and approximately 30,000 cleaning units to manage operations in high-traffic areas during the season. Preparations have also involved maintaining more than 1,000 lighting poles and ensuring the readiness of over 100 restrooms along the Hajj routes.
