Addis ababa: The Muslim World League (MWL) has expressed support for the joint statement by the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and several Arab, Islamic, and friendly countries, along with the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, condemning Israeli actions in the West Bank.
According to Saudi Press Agency, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa highlighted the severe implications of ongoing violations by the occupying government against international law and humanitarian norms. He acknowledged the joint statement's dedication to implementing legal measures against the expansion of settlements deemed illegal under international law.
Dr. Al-Issa stressed the importance of addressing the issues of forced displacement and annexation, urging the international community to act against these violations. He called for the enforcement of international resolutions, including those by the United Nations Security Council and the New York Declaration, which support the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the creation of an independent state.
