National Labor Observatory Highlights Key Figures of Saudi Job Market in April

Riyadh: The National Labor Observatory (NLO) has released a comprehensive report with statistics on the Saudi private sector job market for April 2024. It highlights the total private sector workforce up to the end of the month, the detailed breakdown of male and female citizens and residents working in this sector, as well as the net growth in citizen jobs and the number of new entrants joining the private sector for the first time in April. The report revealed an increase in the total private sector workforce, reaching approximately 11,274,689 workers in the private sector during April. This indicates continuous growth in private sector job availability. According to the report, the total number of citizens working in the private sector during April was 2,356,829 Saudi citizens, with the number of male citizens reaching 1,386,593 and female citizens reaching 970,236. In contrast, the total number of resident foreigners working in the private sector was 8,917,860, including 8,552,960 male residents and onl y 364,900 female residents. The report also reviews the net growth in citizen jobs for April, with 18,535 citizens joining the private sector for the first time.
