Riyadh: Palestinian Ambassador to the Kingdom Mazen Ghunaim praised Saudi Arabia's steadfast stance on the Palestinian cause and its categorical rejection of the so-called 'Greater Israel Vision' and the occupation's expansionist and settlement projects.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Ambassador Ghunaim expressed his country's deep appreciation for the Kingdom's unwavering support in confronting any attempts to undermine Palestinian rights or expand settlements at the expense of Palestinian lands. He stressed that the occupation's plans pose a direct threat to Arab security and regional stability and stand in clear contradiction to international legitimacy resolutions, international humanitarian law, and relevant treaties.
He affirmed that the Kingdom, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, continues to support legitimate Palestinian rights, foremost among them the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. He noted that this position represents a fundamental pillar in countering any attempts to alter facts on the ground or marginalize Palestinian national rights.
