Makkah: The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has issued preventive guidelines aimed at ensuring a safe and smooth Tawaf, or circumambulation of the Ka'bah, for pilgrims during this year's Hajj season 1446 AH. This initiative is part of the Presidency's ongoing efforts to provide services to the Guests of God, allowing them to perform their rituals with ease and peace.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the guidelines emphasize several preventive measures that pilgrims should adhere to during Tawaf. These include drinking sufficient amounts of water to stay hydrated and prevent dehydration, resting when feeling fatigued to avoid heat exhaustion, and steering clear of crowded areas to ensure their safety and the safety of others. Additionally, the use of sun umbrellas is recommended to protect against sunstroke, and wearing masks in crowded places is advised to mitigate the risk of infection transmission.
