Abha: The Ramadan market in Abha is experiencing notable economic momentum this year, led by popular traditional foods that dominate purchases in the Ramadan markets and form a main pillar of the region's seasonal commercial activity.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the market features 87 sales outlets, including 60 shops, in addition to 210 licensed vendors. The average daily number of visitors reaches around 4,500, reflecting the growing demand for traditional Ramadan food products, especially in the period preceding the Maghrib call to prayer.
The role of productive families and local vendors stands out in this activity, as traditional foods provide an important seasonal opportunity to increase their income, within a framework of organization and licensing that ensures product quality and safety and strengthens consumer confidence.
This momentum highlights that Aseer Region's culinary heritage is no longer merely a Ramadan tradition, but a seasonal economic contributor supporting small businesses and enhancing activity in the local markets of Abha during Ramadan.
