Riyadh Region Municipality Partners in COP16 Green Zone.

Riyadh: Riyadh Region Municipality is a key partner in the Green Zone of the 16th Conference of the Parties (COP16), which will take place here from December 2 to 13 and bring together decision-makers, experts, and specialists from over 100 countries. According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality will present innovative visions and practical projects in afforestation and sustainability and showcase its pioneering achievements and initiatives aligned with the Saudi Green and Riyadh Green initiatives, which aim to enhance quality of life and increase green spaces. Its participation reflects its endeavour to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals by promoting green transformation, combating desertification, and rehabilitating lands. COP16 aims to showcase the latest environmental innovations and technologies that promote a balance between economic development and environmental protection, emphasizing afforestation techniques, strategies to combat desertification, and the enhancement of vegetation cover. I t is anticipated to draw thousands of visitors and experts. The event will feature over 100 panel discussions, interactive workshops, and specialized exhibitions that will showcase the latest advancements in environmental technologies.
