Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia actively safeguards its environment through national initiatives and policies to preserve natural resources, foster sustainability, and increase environmental awareness. This commitment is highlighted by Environment Week 2025, a Kingdom-wide event from April 20 to 26, which underscores the nation's dedication to conservation and public awareness, aligning with its comprehensive vision for sustainable development.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Environment Week is an annual national event through which the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture aims to cultivate community environmental awareness and stimulate broad participation from all segments of society-governmental, private, and non-profit entities-to protect the environment and achieve sustainable development.
This year's program includes tree-planting and clean-up campaigns, environmental exhibitions, educational workshops, and volunteer initiatives held across the Kingdom. These events reflect a shared commitment to environmental protection and an enhanced quality of life.
