Riyadh: The Saudi Electricity Company is participating in a delegation led by the Ministry of Energy to represent the Kingdom in the World Energy Congress 2024, which is held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from April 22 to 25. Partaking in this global event, the company eyes transition towards clean energy and capacitate renewable energy sources in the Kingdom by providing the best potential to transfer this energy to load centers with high reliability and contribute to finding innovative solutions to the challenges facing the global energy sector. It also seeks to exchange knowledge and experiences and enhance international cooperation in the field of energy. The Saudi Electricity Company delegation includes a group of executive leaders to attend a number of dialogue sessions and bilateral meetings. The company is participating in a dialogue session entitled 'Critical Supply Chains: Sourcing the Materials for Energy Transitions." It also presents two scientific papers, 'Carbon Capture Using Freezing Tech nology" to review the company's contributions in supporting the Kingdom's efforts towards renewable energy and reducing emissions, and 'Concentrating Solar Energy on Sand to Produce Electricity' to highlight the company's contributions in the field of research and innovation in the field of electricity production.
