Riyadh: The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) participated in the Media Oasis with an interactive digital pavilion that highlighted the fund's significant developmental contributions on a global scale. Visitors to the pavilion were treated to a comprehensive overview of the fund's initiatives since its establishment in 1974, marking a rich history of developmental contributions over the past 50 years. According to Saudi Press Agency, the pavilion featured engaging developmental stories and offered an immersive virtual-reality journey. This multimedia experience was designed to showcase the tangible impact of the various developmental projects financed by the SFD on less developed communities around the world. Throughout its extensive history, the SFD has made significant strides by funding over 800 projects and developmental programs across more than 100 countries. The total value of these initiatives exceeds US$20 billion, underscoring the SFD's commitment to fostering global development and improving the quality of life in underdeveloped regions.
