Yemen: Yemen's President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, has affirmed that Israeli aggression continues in the occupied Palestinian territories and has expanded military operations to target Lebanon's sovereignty. He stated that this has placed the region on the brink of an unprecedented military escalation that threatens both national and regional security. His remarks were made during his participation at the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit in Riyadh. According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al-Alimi emphasized Yemen's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate right to resist occupation and establish an independent state. He also condemned Israeli actions against Lebanon and expressed full support for Lebanon's efforts to achieve a permanent ceasefire, strengthen its national institutions, and assert sovereignty over its territory in accordance with international legitimacy. Additionally, Dr. Al-Alimi reiterated Yemen's rejection of Houthi p ractices, which he claimed have worsened economic and living conditions both in Yemen and throughout the region, serving hostile expansionist interests.
