Jeddah: Walking trails and green spaces across Jeddah Governorate's neighborhoods and waterfronts are attracting large numbers of residents and visitors, providing healthy and diverse venues for exercise and leisure during the summer holiday season in safe, well-equipped environments that support quality of life goals and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the trails, developed by Jeddah Municipality, feature landscaped surroundings and integrated services, including lighting, seating, rest areas, and green spaces. They are also connected to residential neighborhoods, public parks, and recreational facilities, enhancing visitors' experiences and enabling them to combine sports and leisure pursuits.
The Saudi Press Agency observed that these recreational and sports facilities have helped attract visitors during the 2026 summer season by allowing them to combine physical activity with enjoying nature and recreational attractions in an integrated urban environment. These efforts reflect the municipality's ongoing commitment to improving quality of life and providing public amenities that meet the needs of all segments of society.
