Two workers at the Akkuyu nuclear power plant were killed and 35 injured in a collision between two buses in southern Turkey

Two people, one Russian and the other Turkish, working at the Turkish Akkuyu nuclear power station, were killed and 35 were injured, most of them workers at the nuclear station, in a two-bus collision accident in southern Turkey. Turkish media sources reported that the accident occurred in the city of Mersin in southern Turkey after the bus carrying workers at the Akkuyu station crossed the opposite lane as a result of its driver losing control of the steering wheel while traveling towards Mersin and colliding with another bus carrying workers and a car containing specialized supervisors. The wounded were transferred to Mersin Hospital to receive treatment. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
