Riyadh:Construction of three major parks located in the neighborhoods of Al Qadisiyah, Al Rimal, and Al Munsiyah has surpassed 85% completion. These parks are part of the Green Riyadh initiative, which is managed by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City. The new parks will feature sports grounds, fitness areas, water play facilities, and designated paths for cycling and skating.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the landscaping efforts for these parks involve planting over 585,000 trees and shrubs, as well as ground cover plants. The projects are designed to further the goals of Green Riyadh by expanding vegetation cover, reducing the impact of rising temperatures, and enhancing air quality across the city.
