Hearing ‘Adhan’ on Television Leads Italian Pilgrim to Islam, Journey Continues through Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Program for Hajj

Makkah: Italian pilgrim Mohammed Luca, a guest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, recounted the story of his journey to Islam, which began in childhood after hearing the call to prayer (Adhan) on television for the first time.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Luca explained that the sound of the Adhan left a profound impression on him when he first heard it at the age of 12 because of its spirituality and tranquility, prompting him to inquire about Islam, research its teachings, and learn more about the religion firsthand.

He said his journey of learning and exploration continued for years until it ultimately led him to embrace Islam with conviction, emphasizing that the peace and clarity he found in Islam were the main reasons behind his life-changing decision.

Luca noted that performing Hajj as part of the Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit was among the most profound spiritual experiences of his life. He expressed deep gratitude for the care and attention he received from the moment of his arrival in the Kingdom, praising the comprehensive services and exceptional organization that provided pilgrims with an atmosphere of security and spirituality.

The Italian pilgrim also commended the Kingdom's significant efforts in serving the Two Holy Mosques and caring for the pilgrims.
