Heavy Rain and Flash Floods Expected in Several Regions

Riyadh:The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted moderate to heavy rain, potentially causing flash floods. These weather conditions, which include hail and gusty winds, are expected in the regions of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, The forecast also indicates that light to moderate rain may affect parts of Madinah, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders regions. Additionally, dense fog is anticipated over parts of the Eastern Region, with thunderclouds likely to form in its southern areas.

Winds over the Red Sea are predicted to vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds at speeds of 20-40 km/h, northwesterly to westerly winds at 15-38 km/h, and southeasterly to easterly winds at 10-50 km/h. Sea conditions will range from calm to choppy, with waves from half a meter to over two meters.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to northerly at 10-30 km/h and northwesterly to westerly at 10-25 km/h. The sea is expected to be calm, with waves ranging from half a meter to one meter.
