Riyadh: The Prophet's Mosque The Prophet's Mosque is witnessing the arrival of pilgrims of various nationalities at the start of their faith journey to perform Hajj this year, amid an integrated system of operational services provided by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. This integrated system covers organizational, guidance, awareness, and volunteer aspects to create a safe and accessible environment for pilgrims.
According to Saudi Press Agency, services include multilingual pilgrim guidance, daily cleaning, cold water provision, cooling and air conditioning, shading umbrellas, and misting fans. These measures aim to ensure that the pilgrims' spiritual experience is uninterrupted and comfortable.
Hundreds of volunteers are deployed throughout the mosque to assist worshippers, particularly the elderly and persons with disabilities, facilitating their access to prayer areas. This volunteer presence is intended to enhance the overall experience for all pilgrims visiting the mosque.
