Riyadh: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu has reaffirmed Kazakhstan's commitment to a two-state solution in alignment with United Nations resolutions, aiming to establish an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. He emphasized that this approach is essential for upholding Palestinians' right to self-determination and ensuring their statehood. According to Saudi Press Agency, Deputy Prime Minister Nurtleu made these remarks today during his participation in the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit in Riyadh. He added that restrictions on the operations of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Gaza contribute to the worsening humanitarian situation. He condemned any attacks or actions directed against UN peacekeeping forces or their diplomatic missions, describing such incidents as serious violations of international and humanitarian law.
