Speaking at the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit in Riyadh, President Mohamud underscored the urgent need to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, emphasizing that an international commitment is essential to safeguarding lives within the enclave. He warned that the escalating violence in Gaza, and its spillover into Lebanon, poses significant risks of further destabilization in the region. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Somali leader appealed to the international community to unite in coordinated action to protect vulnerable populations in Palestine and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid and essential resources to those in need.
