Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued its efforts to implement training programs specifically tailored for vulnerable groups and persons with disabilities in Gaza. This initiative is part of KSrelief's Economic Empowerment Project and is conducted in partnership with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the training programs include a wide array of professional and digital courses such as graphic design, digital marketing, translation, freelancing, virtual assistance, and remote business management. Additionally, skills training in men's grooming, women's beauty services, embroidery, sewing, and handicrafts are also provided to enhance the employability of the participants.
The primary aim of these programs is to equip the beneficiaries with essential skills and knowledge that can significantly improve their prospects in the competitive job market. The project's first phase is particularly ambitious, targeting the training of over 1,000 vulnerable individuals and persons with disabilities. This is achieved through 130 hours of specialized training, which is divided into eight distinct professional and digital tracks.
This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment, through KSrelief, to aid in the economic recovery of Gaza and to bolster the capacities of its young men and women.
