Riyadh: The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) today launched a campaign titled Aseer Summer to raise awareness about preserving natural resources and vegetation cover during the summer season, in conjunction with the Aseer Development Authority's efforts to promote the region as a leading tourist and environmental destination.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the campaign highlights Aseer Region's natural diversity and environmental richness, emphasizing the importance of enjoying nature through responsible practices that contribute to its protection and sustainability.
The campaign includes awareness messages urging visitors to use designated vehicle tracks in vegetation areas, maintain cleanliness at natural sites, and avoid damaging plants and environmental components, ensuring the sustainability of these sites for future generations.
