Pilgrims Perform Stoning Ritual at Jamarat During First Day of Tashreeq

Mina: Pilgrims on the second day of Eid al-Adha, which marks the first day of Tashreeq, participated in the traditional stoning of the three Jamarat. They began with the Small Jamarat, proceeded to the Middle Jamarat, and concluded with the Aqaba Jamarat, in accordance with the practices established by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the stoning process was meticulously organized through a strict grouping plan. This plan was executed in collaboration with various concerned authorities and involved immediate field oversight. The coordination ensured the highest levels of safety and security for the pilgrims, allowing them to perform their rituals in an environment of peace and tranquility.

Pilgrims remain in Mina during the days of Tashreeq to complete their rituals. They have the option to hasten their departure on the second day if they choose, in accordance with the religious allowance that states: "But whoever hastens in two days, there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays, there is no sin upon him - for him who fears Allah."
