Jeddah: The Seventh Arab Water Forum is scheduled to commence on June 28 as part of Saudi Water Week, which will be held in Jeddah from June 28 to July 2, to discuss the most pressing challenges facing water resources in the Arab region amid climate change, population growth, and increasing water demand. The forum will bring together a broad range of national, regional, and international participants, including decision-makers, experts, specialists, representatives of regional and international organizations, government entities, private sector representatives, and research institutions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum will focus on several key themes, including enhancing Arab water security, exchanging successful experiences and expertise among Arab countries, showcasing innovative solutions and modern technologies in water desalination and reuse, improving the efficiency of water resource management, and discussing the impact of climate change on water sustainability in the region.
The forum is expected to reach qualitative outcomes that support decision-makers, enhance integration among relevant stakeholders, and boost the Arab region's role in the international dialogue on water issues, reflecting the significance of this regional event and its position on the map of specialized water-sector events.
