Riyadh: On behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji took part in the joint ministerial meeting between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Kingdom of Morocco. The meeting, chaired by Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in his capacity as the current session chair, was conducted via video conference.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the agenda of the meeting focused on strengthening the long-standing relations between GCC countries and Morocco. Discussions aimed to enhance and develop the existing strategic partnership frameworks across various fields. Participants also addressed the escalating tensions in the region and explored ongoing efforts to resolve them.
